Nirvana loves history and vintage Americana. Here she's enjoying a nude walk along a section of the old " Road U.S. Route 66 west of Albuquerque, New Mexico. For decades, this 2400 mile road was the main highway from Chicago to Los Angeles and was used by millions of travelers heading west towards California. Established in 1926 Route 66 became known as the "Main Street of America" until the interstate highway system eventually bypassed it completely and made it obsolete. The road was memorialized in the song "Get Your Kicks on Route 66" and ironically this version by the Rolling Stones was released 53 years ago, the same year Nirvana was born. Hope you enjoy this further glimpse of Nirvana and as the song says ...... "If you ever plan to motor west, travel my way, take the highway that is best, get your kicks on Route 66" ❤️❤️
